Our Story
Affordable Erecting Inc. was founded in 1996 by Tracy and Janice Haferkorn as a one man, one truck, and one lift crew operation that quickly grew into so much more. Affordable has worked for both large enterprises and small startups. As machinery movers with decades of experience, we ensure that any job can be done to your specifications in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. Our facility in West Bend can also accommodate private and secure storage for your machines.
Tracy Haferkorn, Owner and Operator
Tracy (TJ) Haferkorn has worked in the machinery moving industry since the late 70’s. After working in various trades, TJ made the decision in 1996 to open his own business focusing on machinery moving, rigging and millwright services. TJ prides himself on his experience, tough work ethic, and perfectionism. In his free time, TJ enjoys working on motorcycles, spending time with his family, and relaxing at his cabin “up north”.
Josh Haferkorn, Project Manager
Josh Haferkon is a project manager at Affordable. In 2010, Josh graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Shortly upon graduation, Josh joined the business as an operator and slowly worked his way up to the role of project manager. As PM, Josh is responsible for the initiating, planning, executing, and closing out of all machinery and plant moves, as well as rigging and other related projects. In his spare time, Josh likes to travel, eat and cook, and spend time with his wife and son.
